      Grand Master Chon is the founder and chief instructor of Chon's Korean Karate School.He has
     over forty years experience in teaching traditional Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do,Hapkido and Kickboxing,
     including experience with a vast array of weapons.

     In 1965: he won the First Tae Kwon Do President's Cup Individual Championship.

     In 1966: he became a member of the Korean High School Championship Competition Team, where he won
     numerous events.

     From 1969-1971: coached the Korean Army Team at Kwang Ju Military Academy.

     In 1978: the Korean Bantam Weight Kickboxing Champion.

     From 1981-1990: instructor for the Grand Master Song Ki Kim, at his Song Tan City School.

     From 1984-1990: Master Chon taught American and Korean servicemen at Osan Air Force Base, Korea.

     In July, 1990: Master Chon and family arrived in the United States and settled in Belle Vernon,
     Pennsylvania, where he began teaching Tang Soo Do in November of that year.

     In 1992: Founded the Asia Tang Soo Do Federation, which has affiliate schools in many different states.

     In 1994: Grand Master Chon was awarded the Presidential Sports Award for Martial Arts.
