If our goal helps individual men and women, boys and girls, to better themselves, our philosophy is the way we work to achieve it.
Our instructors work diligently in developing curriculum and teaching each class. Instructors are trained by on-site experience and guided practice. Each instructor retains the rank of 2nd Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt) or higher, as awarded through our federation. Once instructor training is complete, training-Instructors are tested before a panel of our grandmaster and the senior masters of our federation. This training-instructor period typically lasts one year. Only once they have passed examination with satisfactory teaching skills and requisite knowledge they become certified instructors (a.k.a., kyosa-nim). Some instructors, having continued their own studies, over time, become a certified master (and master-instructor, a.k.a., sabu-nim). Often masters and instructors leave the schools which taught them to start their own schools. These instructors only do this after many years of training with permission from their own masters. This helps to ensure that they are qualified to continue teaching the art as it was taught to them. |
Our instructors work with students to organize a school demonstration team that participates in local community events. This gives a chance for students who wish to go the extra mile to exercise that drive and hone their skills as martial artists.
